2008年10月3日，上海.VANS宣布, 中国首间品牌专卖店隆重开幕! 店铺位于上海市长乐路706号, 面积达40平方米, 售卖Vans男女装鞋履产品、上下装及配饰等产品。为迎接10月3日至7日的国庆长假期，店铺今天起正式投入服务。
Shanghai ( October 3, 2008)- Vans is thrilled to announce our launch into China with the opening of the first stand alone retail store, located at 706 Changle Rd in Shanghai. The 40 square meter store featuring men’s and women’s footwear, apparel, and accessories, will open to the public just in time for China’s week- long National Day holiday from October 1-7th.

长乐路专卖店的设计承袭Vans的独特传统, 运用了原木、混凝土及钢材等物料, 将自然气息与都市脉博融为一体, 诱发美国南加州年青人冲浪滑浪时的原始魅力。品牌设计以运动及年轻文化为基石,锐意传递富创造力, 勇于表现自我的生活态度, 与Vans的品牌意念一脉相承。
除了全新开设的专卖店外，Vans还会分销至中国各地的特选零售店。
“Over the last several years Changle Road has developed into a popular shopping district for youth and street culture in Shanghai, which makes this location the ideal platform to showcase Vans products and heighten the exposure for the Vans brand Internationally,” said Mitchell Whitaker, Director of Vans Asia Pacific. “This store will offer consumers the chance to experience Vans’ 42 year old Southern California heritage while shopping in one of Shanghai’s premiere retail destinations.”
The Changle Road store design evolved from Vans’ heritage utilizing the wood, concrete, and steel evoking raw beauty- both natural and urban- of Southern California’s surf, skate, and youth lifestyle. The design cues communicate the key messages of creativity and self- expression through action sports and youth culture that constitute the Vans lifestyle. In addition to stand alone stores, Vans will be distributed into specialty lifestyle retailers throughout China.
