The new skate video game is due to be released in early 2012 and will include scenes from his first two skate video games that were released in 1999 and 2000, respectively. His announcement on Saturday included a Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD video trailer that only added to the excitement. It reminded me of the warehouse level in the Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 only the graphics look amazing especially when you compare them side by side with the originals. If you want to compare the graphics yourself, there are several videos posted on YouTube that show scenes from Hawk's earlier skate games. I like the idea that the new game will combine a bit of nostalgia with modern HD technology.
