From May to October, the new 2012 Vans Dragon SK8 Skate season will offer our contestant skateboarders a unique skateboarding contest-experience. The new season will feature some new stuff, including the new courses and new contest-concepts, such as Dragon Best Tricks, Dragon Jump and Best Best. Also, the contest will allow overseas skateboarders to compete in Pro section. The contest will offer more prizes or prizes money to motivate the skateboarders. Ams will also be offered some free stuff from Vans in addition to prizes money. Hey, are you ready?

Dragon SK8滑板巡回赛创立自2009年，赛事瞄准迅速崛起的中国极限运动市场，倾力3载成长为国内最受瞩目的专业滑板赛事，并受到中国滑板选手和极限运动爱好者的追捧。无论是道具、赛制还是参与品牌，赛事呈现出中国滑板运动的最高水平。
2011年，VansDragonSK8经过5个月6大城市的征战，共有来自国内以及美国、加拿大、澳大利亚、法国、奥地利、瑞士、越南、印尼、刚果、俄罗斯、香港、台湾等13个国家和地区的102位滑板精英参加了比赛。国内以李祉兴和来自VansTeam的王汇丰、王旻君等滑手为代表的一线滑板选手悉数参赛，同时也涌现出了王国华、刘佳明等近年上升的滑手新势力；总决赛现场美国冲浪/滑板潜力之星Curren Caples作为特别嘉宾出席活动，在带来精彩表演的同时也吸引了国内滑手一同进行交流，进一步促进了国内选手的成长，推动中国板类运动的发展。
