Rumored for much of the past year, GoPro finally lends some more credibility to the development of its drone product line with the announcement of its name: Karma. This was accompanied by a first look at the video capturing and stabilization capabilities of the drone, accompanied by an offer on the product website of the chance to win one of 100 free drones upon launch by entering one’s email address. Expected to launch in the first half of 2016, GoPro will miss the crucial holiday season in which as many as one million drones are expected to be sold.
