Twelve years ago, Foshan didn't have a single skate shop. Then, Volcano was born. It became the hub for every skater in the city, and that's where the story began. At the end of last year, Volcano's physical storefront closed its doors. But this isn't the end; it’s a Reset—a restart, and the beginning of a brand-new Volcano.
This film, Reset, is the first-ever brand skate video out of Foshan. It serves as a milestone for the past twelve years, marking the conclusion of the "brick-and-mortar era" while simultaneously launching the "new Volcano." By documenting the people and the present, rather than cataloging objects and the past, they are closing this chapter and opening a new one.
Moving forward, Volcano will no longer be just a physical shop, but a symbol of Foshan's skate culture. The concept of "Support Your Local" was never just about telling you to buy things at a store. Real "Support Your Local" means supporting local skaters and local culture—using more authentic skate footage to help Foshan’s skate scene "get out there" and be seen.
十二年前，佛山没有滑板店。火山诞生了。这里是所有滑手的据点，故事就从这里开始。去年年底，火山的实体店关闭了。但这不是结束，是 Reset——重启，开启全新的火山。
这部《Reset》，是佛山本土第一部品牌滑板影片。也是十二年来的一个小的总结，既是他们「店铺时代」的终结，同时也是「全新火山」的开始。用记录「人」和「当下」，而不是盘点「物」和「过去」，来给这十二年画上句号，同时开启新的篇章。
以后的火山，不再只是一家实体店铺，而是一个代表佛山滑板文化的符号。「Support Your Local」这个概念从来不是只叫你去实体店买东西。真正的 Support Your Local，是支持本土滑手，支持本土文化，用更多真实的滑板片段，让佛山这座城市的滑板文化「走出去」。
