Vans Documentary Nominated for an Emmy
The Vans documentary ImillaSkate: The Cholita Skaters of Bolivia has been nominated for "Outstanding Long Feature" at the 47th Sports Emmy Awards. The film focuses on a group of indigenous women in Bolivia who wear traditional attire while skateboarding to express their cultural identity and female empowerment. The film previously won the 2026 SIMA "Humanitarian Impact" award. The 47th Sports Emmy Awards will be held in New York on May 26th—let’s look forward to it!
