Last weekend, Vans brought its latest skate shoe, the Skate Era WaffleCup, to Fubao (Futian Bonded Zone)—one of Shenzhen's most popular skate spots—for an on-foot wear test with local skaters. Vans' Guangdong-based team riders including Wang Huifeng, Shutiao, Chen Yu, Liuliu, Gungun, Xie Jicheng, Kedou, and Chuanchuan all participated in the event. Also invited were local Shenzhen skaters Cai Hongxin, A-Hao, Ruby, Zhang Tao, Donggua, Shaobing, aaaaizo (A-Zhan), Pengzai, Lin Shengkai, Chuanchuan, Zhuhong, JJ, and Xiao Hu.

The first session is one minute flip challenge. 11 years old Edde from Hong Kong won the contest with 25 kickflip in one minute.

The highlight of the event was the GAME OF F.U.B.A.O. team challenge. This time, it wasn't limited to the ledges; skaters could utilize all the terrain at the spot to set their tricks. All skaters were divided into three teams: two amateur teams first went head-to-head, and the winning team earned the right to challenge the "Final Boss" team composed of Vans-sponsored riders.

Ultimately, the amateur team pulled ahead after a 3:3 tie, with Donggua sealing the victory with a halfcab noseslide biggerspin to win the game.
