It has been five years since Charles Lanceplaine released his last documentary on Chinese skateboarding, Shanghai 6. Last summer, at the PUSH Asia Skateboarding Film Festival, he premiered his new story, State of Affairs (现状).
The film's focus is no longer just on "Shanghai"; it expands its perspective to "Chengdu" and the "Aranya" By exploring various levels, it uncovers the evolution and current state of skateboarding's influence in China over the past five years.
