7月末，烈火古城，VansDragonSK8滑板巡回赛以最特别的方式登陆西安，灯光夜场吸引了包括西安本地，来自香港刚刚签约VANS TEAM的Chris & Piet等近30位来自、台湾、上海、杭州、深圳、广州、山东、美国等国家和地区的滑手参赛！
首日，现场经过烈日预热，最热情的范粉加上观众让Vans媒体互动区在短短10分钟内直接空仓！直接点燃滑手们的激情，业余组赛场上唯一的女滑手66成功完成OLLIE6级台阶引爆现场，开创VansDragonSK8赛事乃至国内赛事女滑手参赛记录；职业组汇丰飘逸的Treflip，香港俊仔完美的反脚动作，最有风格的神奇小又鸟王国华，Chris、Piet、Brian加上台湾Adee的动作只能用生猛来形容，使现场直接变成滑手们的DEMO时间。
次日VansDragonSK8西安站因不可抗力，虽经过主办方和各方面的积极争取，还是很遗憾的取消了西安站剩余的比赛项目连同7月30日的DragonTOUR；但却意外重现2011年BabyDragon西安站的颁奖仪式，不同的时间，同样的地点再次唤醒滑手的激情，首日比赛项目的颁奖仪式如期举行，特意从成都赶来参赛的芝加哥滑手Ben Mullinkosson再次成为黑马，重现成都站那个疯狂DropIn赢得职业组弧面项目冠军；神奇滑手王国华状态相当好，用绝对NB的大乱540继续蝉联台阶项目的冠军；西安本土小将高群翔不负众望，对道具良好的掌控将业余组弧面冠军收入囊中；来自青岛的徐兆顶住压力在脚伤未痊愈的情况下赢得业余组台阶冠军！

July 28th Xi’an Wanda Plaza - July 28th 2012, marked this years first Vans Dragon Sk8 to be held at night, allowing participants and spectators to avoid the scorching heat of midday. The Xi’an Vans Dragonsk8 and participants, a selection of China’s best skaters, attracted large crowds of enthusiastic spectators.
The PRO division Stairs Best Trick went to Vans rider Wang Guohua. Ben Mullinkosson provided an outstanding performance placing first in the PRO Quarter Pipe Best Trick session.
Owing to forces majeure, Sunday's contest and XA Dragon Tour were unfortunately canceled. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused during the Xi’an Dragon Sk8 contest. However, the good news is that we'll have a special wild card contest in Hangzhou for a last chance shot at entering the finals. More details regarding this adjustment will be released soon, so be sure to follow the news at @Vansdragonsk8 and dragonsk8.com.
